The American Classic Woman of the Year Pageant, Washington, DC, was founded in 2000 by Letha M. Blount (1930-2023). The Board of Directors and former pageant Queens are planning to present the pageant again in July 2024 in tribute to Ms. Blount.

The Board of Directors of American Classic Woman Pageant, Inc. is pleased to announce that efforts are underway to conduct a pageant in July 2024 in tribute to the pageant's late founder and director Letha M. Blount.A fundraiser, an Entertainment Extravaganza, will be presented on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Unity Life Christian Ministries Center Inc., 5210 Auth Road, 4th Floor, Suitland, MD.Performers will include past American Classic Pageant Queens and contestants, and special guests:Spiritual J's of Harmony Timothy Williams Jude Crannich Lorenzo Green Destiny Thompson Abena Disroe Helena Alston Iris Pierce Robin Riddick Luke Saunders Mike and The Fellas Tickets are $20.00 per person.
