<p>22-year old Toronto alt-punk up-and-comer Cam Kahin makes fuzzy prog garage rock andearworm guitar sludge. Kahin released two singles in 2021 followed by his debut six-song EP,LET IT SINK IN, in early 2022—all recorded in his Dunnville bedroom—that shot him into theGreater Toronto Area’s alternative circles and led the CBC to name him one of the country’s topfive “fearless new rock voices.”Cam’s explosive sophomore EP,WHEN IT’S ALL OVER, is the sound of life forcing Kahin tothe brink of self-destruction, and the confusing, pendulum swing of the path back to somesemblance of peace. Lead single “compass” served as Cam’s Canadian Radio debut on theAlternative and Rock Radio charts, peaking at #34. Singles “birds” and “try again” were met withwidespread support from editorial playlists landing onAll New Rock, Ready to Rock, New Noise,andNew Music Friday.In 2024Cam is set to release his third project via Dine Alone Records. Labeledas one ofExclaim’s Class of 2024 Cam started the year off strong with a new single “stay with me” andsold out release show at Expo Vintage. Kahin is taking his new music on the road with K.Flay inMarch, a headline tour in Canada and the US, and an appearance at Osheaga</p>
