He has performed and collaborated with a who's who of musical luminaries, including Captain Beefheart (Don Van Vliet), Jeff Buckley, Leonard Bernstein, Lou Reed, John Cale, Patti Smith, Chris Cornell, Bryan Ferry, Nona Hendryx, Los Van Van, Graham Parker, Bob Weir, Nick Cave, John Osborne and Thurston Moore. Dubbed "The Thinking Man's Guitar Hero" by The New Yorker, "The world's most popular avant-rock guitarist" by The Independent (UK), "One of the 100 Greatest Living Guitarists" (Classic Rock), "Legendary Leftfield guitarist" by The Guardian (UK), "Guitarist of 1000 Ideas" by The New York Times, "a true axe God" by Melody Maker, and "one of the best and most original guitarists in America...a modern guitar miracle” (Rolling Stone), Gary is a one man band on acoustic guitar and one of the best fingerpickers alive-- and his repertoire covers the waterfront from original songs and instrumentals, country blues, original songs, 30’s Chinese pop, film music, jazz classics by Mingus and Ellington , and much much more. MARC DELGADOMarc Delgado is a songwriter, storyteller &amp; poet who combines folk music &amp; rocknroll with a sharp wit &amp; cinematic eye to deliver songs tinged with pathos &amp; humour. His latest record, Wildwood Road, is a chronicle of his life in California where he grew up, a tour through the seedy motels &amp; dive bars of The Central Valley &amp; Southern Coast. Whether performing with his band or performing solo, Delgado weaves fact &amp; fiction on stage with the heart of a stand-up comic in search of the gritty truth. He is currently at work on a new record in Woodstock, NY where he resides with his wife &amp; daughter.
