Poly-Kroma

An annual art and design exhibition featuring the work of talented students and graduating seniors from Cal Poly Pomona's Art Department

About Poly-Kroma 2024: Poly-Kroma consists of three distinct events that celebrate Visual Communication Design and Fine Art directly resulting from coursework completed within the Art Department. The two components of Poly-Kroma include: the Industry Portfolio Showcase—also known as the graduating senior Visual Communication Design majors exhibition; and the 2D3D+ Juried Student Art Show—the annual Art Department’s student exhibition. This year for the first time is the inclusion of the Motion Festival which celebrates and features time-based work by Visual Communication Design students including motion graphics and animation. The festival was curated by faculty and industry leaders. This year’s Motion Festival was held outside on the lawn across from of the Kellogg University Art Gallery and is documented as part of the Poly-Kroma exhibition. Family &amp; Friends Day, this year, is celebrated on Mon., May 20, 2024 @ 10am-12pm (after the College of Environmental Design's commencement from 8-10am) and is an event open to all graduating Senior's friends and family interested in viewing the graduates of Visual Communication Design portfolios and highlight their participation in 2d3d+ along with winning artworks. Please join the Art Department, College of Environmental Design, and University Art Galleries in celebrating all class levels of students’ artwork through our Fine Art and Visual Communication Design events!
