<P>Welcome to our second annual 84.51° Hackathon! This year's theme is Artificial Intelligence (AI)! AI is a very popular topic in the technology world today, and for good reason. It is threatening to disrupt many industries and is changing the way we think about our work.</P>
<P><BR>The goal of the hackathon is to develop a solution utilizing AI to solve a problem that we face today. No experience with AI? No worries! There are plenty of API's available that you can use in your solution.</P>

<P><H3>FAQs</H3></P>
<P><SPAN><H4>Are there a limited number of tickets?</H4></SPAN><BR><SPAN>Yes, we are limiting the event to 200 attendees and spots are filling up fast. We do have a waitlist once all 200 spots are filled.</SPAN></P>
<P><H4>Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?</H4><BR>You must be currently enrolled at a college or university and 18 years or older. Bring your current, valid university student ID.</P>
<P><H4>How do teams work?</H4><BR>Teams can consist of 1-4 people. You can work on your own, but in our experience, a hackathon is always more fun when collaborating with someone. You can register individually or with specified teammates.</P>
<P><H4>What if we don't have an idea?</H4><BR>A team of passionate mentors has been assembled and will be available to help you achieve your goals.</P>
<P><H4>Will there be food?</H4><BR>Yes, we will be providing meals and snacks.</P>
<P><H4>Are there prizes?</H4><BR>Yes!</P>
<P><H4>Do you provide transportation to the event or parking reimbursement?</H4><BR>We do not provide transportation or reimburse for parking.</P>
<P><H4>Can I use third party APIs?</H4><BR>The use of free third-party APIs and libraries is allowed and encouraged.</P>
<P><H4>Can I start my hack before the event?</H4><BR>You are not allowed to progress work on your hack before the event.</P>
<P><H4>What can/can't I bring to the event?</H4><BR>Bring your laptop, a charger, a power strip, and hardware you might need, and your student ID.</P>
<P><H4>How does judging work?</H4><BR>A panel of judges will assess the hacks based on design, difficulty, creativity and ability to go to market. Five hacks will be selected for demo and a final round of judging.</P>
<P><H4>Is my registration/ticket transferrable?</H4><BR>Nope, sorry.</P>
<P><H4>Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?</H4><BR>Yes, bring your printed ticket and a current, valid student ID.</P>
<P><H4>Is it okay if the name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee?</H4><BR>No. Make sure you have the correct printed ticket.</P>
<P><H4>Will sleeping quarters be provided?</H4><BR>Due to limited space, there will be no access to sleeping quarters or showers.</P>
<P><H4>Do you follow a code of conduct?</H4><BR>We abide by <A HREF="https://static.mlh.io/docs/mlh-code-of-conduct.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Major League Hacking Code of Conduct.</A> By participating in the 84.51º hackathon, you agree to this same Code of Conduct.</P>
<P><H4>Is there a deadline for registration?</H4><BR>Yes, registration will close on 8/12, so be sure to register before then!</P>
<P><H4>Do I need to be in a particular major to attend?</H4><BR>You do not need to be in a particular major to attend, however, since this is a technical event, it is geared more towards majors such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or another technically-strong major.</P>
<P><H4>What happens if I can no longer attend?</H4><BR>If you can no longer attend the event, you are encouragd to cancel your order on Eventbrite. You can go to your "My Tickets" page, find this event, and then click on "Cancel Order".</P>
