Travel photography is one of the oldest and most popular ways of using a camera. When we have new experiences, in new places, It is a very natural thing to want to share them. This is the essence of travel photography. Often when we get home our vacation photos don’t match the level of the experience.  In this class, we will learn how to record and preserve those experiences with our cameras with images as exciting as the adventure.What you will learn in this workshop?<ul><li>Prep and packing- what gear and location research</li><li>Documentary style of picture taking.</li><li>How to manage new locations, cultures, and situations?</li><li>How do approach and photograph people in strange locations?</li><li>Camera Settings and skills for challenging subjects. (HDR/ Night photos)</li><li>Tips on Storytelling, Wildlife &amp; Nature, Candid Portraits</li><li>A little bit about post-production and how to finish the work you did when your camera.</li></ul><a href="https://dansplainephotography.com/" title="https://dansplainephotography.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Photographer Dan Splaine </a>will lead this class.  He has over 4 decades of experience as a pro photographer. He has worked in dozens of countries and locations throughout the US and he brings all that acquired wisdom to this class. He is excited to share his passion for travel and photography with you.Dan has more than ten years experience teaching photography and leading workshops and tours. Join the hundreds of photography enthusiasts who have attended Dan’s photo events. Improve your camera skills, expand your creativity, and make some new friends! This class is open to all experience-level photographers regardless of the camera types used. This workshop emphasizes how to work with subjects and locations and less on camera specifics. What to Bring?You will be provided with a printed class guide. Be ready to take notes. Bring your camera (but not your whole kit) for questions about operating etc… . Plan on taking part in a lively discussion and please be ready with any questions you might have. <h3>THIS WORKSHOP INCLUDES an ONLINE CRITIQUE SESSION for the attendees!</h3>You invest time and money in joining the class, you invest time after the event to practice your new camera skills. I think that you deserve some feedback on your results.About 3 weeks after the live event I will host an online photo review and critique session via ZOOM.  You will be able to upload your travel photo and participate in this group conversation as part of the registration for the workshop. No additional charge, just another chance to learn photography!
