*NO TICKETS NEEDED*Join us on March 21, 2024 from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Marketplace 9000 Ming Ave, Bakersfield, Ca 93311 to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! <a href="https://www.worlddownsyndromeday.org/" title="https://www.worlddownsyndromeday.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">This is a global awareness day that has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012</a>. <a href="https://ndss.org/world-down-syndrome-day" title="https://ndss.org/world-down-syndrome-day" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The date, 21st day of the 3rd month, signifies the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome</a>We will gather to raise awareness and take a group photo. We ask that everyone wears crazy socks and/or as much blue and yellow to represent the Down syndrome awareness colors. After the photo, join us at BJ’s Brewhouse for our World Down Syndrome Day fundraiser, where BJ’s will be donating 20% of sales to Kern Down Syndrome Network. You can also support our fundraiser by visiting BJ’s all day for either dine in or pickup orders. Just mention our name or show them this flyer.Let’s make this World Down Syndrome Day a memorable one! We hope to see you there!
