As you stretch, breath and move in harmony, feel the stresses of life beginning to melt away.After this first yoga session, we will take a short mindful walk, designed to reawaken your senses and allow an opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty and vitality of the Spring season. We will then gather together, back on our mats for a nourishing vegetarian lunch, featuring seasonal delights sourced directly from Ballymaloe gardens. With bodies nourished and spirits uplifted, it's time to surrender to the healing power of sound. Sink into a state of deep relaxation as the magical Melanie O'Driscoll will guide you through a transformative sound bath experience, enveloping you in a symphony of soothing vibrations. Allow the harmonious tones to wash over you, melting away tension and restoring balance to body, mind, and soul.As the day gently transitions towards late afternoon, we invite you to surrender to the calming embrace of Yin Yoga, a gentle yet powerful practice that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body. Allow yourself to sink into long, passive stretches designed to release tension and promote flexibility. With each pose held for several minutes, Yin Yoga encourages a meditative state of mind, inviting you to cultivate mindfulness and awareness of the present moment.Following the soothing release of Yin Yoga, prepare to journey even deeper into relaxation with the transformative practice of Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. A guided meditation to lead you through a systematic relaxation of the body, mind, and senses. With hearts full and minds at peace, we then bid farewell to this sacred day of retreat, carrying with us the gifts of relaxation, rejuvenation, and inner harmony.
