Dallas Greening Initiative Community Meeting: Echo Lake Dr. Property

Trust for Public Land works to protect the places people care about and to create close-to-home parks—particularly in and near cities, where 80 percent of Americans live. Our goal is to ensure that every child has easy access to a safe place to play in nature. A new neighborhood greenspace is coming near you!Trust for Public Land is partnering with Dallas Park and Recreation, City of Dallas, and Dallas Water Utilities in a new initiative to transform underutilized city-owned land into new neighborhood greenspaces across Dallas. We are excited to share that the property located at <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/bobdLHPbqpcUMdWcA" title="https://maps.app.goo.gl/bobdLHPbqpcUMdWcA" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">2100 Echo Lake Dr</a>. is part of the Dallas Greening Initiative. This means that it will be designated as a neighborhood greenspace that will be open to the public. We are looking forward to working with your community to transform this property into an exciting neighborhood greenspace!Join Trust for Public Land on March 5 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the Kleberg Rylie Recreation Center to learn more about the Dallas Greening Initiative and share what you would like your future greenspace space to be like.
