No - you can participate even if you have no mat. Just lay out a blanket (or two) on the floor.

Can I do this on my bed?

Not suggested, but only because you are more likely to fall asleep than maintain the focus required to follow suggestions with your eyes closed.

Will this help my anxiety?

Yes - when practiced properly and with a strong inner intention, Yoga Nidra can induce a state where anxiety and pain do not exist. They may well return at the end of the practice, but you will never forget their momentary absence.

What script is being used?

The Yoga Nidra practice is based mainly on the script by Satyananda Saraswati from the Bihar School of Yoga in India, augmented by practices taught by Baba Hari Dass and Swami Rama of the Himalayas, updated for Western audiences who may be unfamiliar with Sanskrit terminology.
