Make and taste chocolate chip cookie bars and learn more about baking as civic engagement;  for children ages 7 to 12 and their caregivers.

<p>In this season of giving, children ages 7 to 12 years of age and their caregivers will join representatives from the InKind Baking Project, a Philadelphia-based initiative that empowers bakers from all over the city to volunteer and bake for their neighbors as a sign of welcome, community, and solidarity. Together, we’ll make chocolate chip cookie bars, a fun and flexible recipe that can be adapted based on common pantry staples. Enjoy generous samples while sharing the bounty as an important act of civic engagement. You’ll receive the recipe to take home and recreate for year-round enjoyment and community building. </p><p>SNAP eligible participants are provided with a free ticket, with advance communication.
