JAMDOCS: Little Projects, Little Hands at the J

The Jewish and Muslim Day of Community Service was developed in 2010 out of a partnership between the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis and the Jewish Community Relations Council. The event takes place on Christmas to give recurring volunteers the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families, while also strengthening the relationship between the Jewish and Muslim communities. Now in its 7th year, the program has continued to grow year after year and we are excited and grateful to have you here with us!

Volunteers at this make-it site will assemble snack packs and cards for Back@You, which supplies back packs to those experiencing homeless; no-sew blankets for Crisis Nursery, which provides a safe place for children whose parents are in crisis; holiday cards for hospitalized children; and decorated bags for Project Downtown. Capacity: 100 volunteers.
