Seeds of Caring

Children will assemble snack bags and decorate cheer cards for the families served by the New Albany Food Pantry.

Email us with questions at Programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Small acts of kindness can add up to make a big difference. Children will explore hunger through a video and age-appropriate discussion. Then, helping hands will assemble snack bags and decorate cheer cards that will be included in spring break meal boxes distributed to families who utilize services at the<a href="https://www.newalbanyfoodpantry.org/" title="https://www.newalbanyfoodpantry.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> New Albany Food Pantry</a><a href="http://www.columbusearlylearning.org/" title="http://www.columbusearlylearning.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">.</a>When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on March 17th. Donations may be contact-free, porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm March 15th-17th at a Seeds of Caring volunteer’s home in Dublin, Westerville, Upper Arlington, Blacklick or Powell. Addresses are provided in the service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on hunger and service.Approximate Cost:$8 for 5 bags each containing a salty, sweet, and healthy snack (full packing list is included in the packet). For the cheer card, use craft supplies on hand or the printable template provided in the service packet.Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
