The 3rd Ward Real Estate Council is looking for 25 individuals that want to become neighborhood developers! Through our Bridge to Action mentorship bootcamp, we aim to prepare the next wave of individuals interested in sustainable and equitable community revitalization of Houston's most historic African American neighborhoods. Open to stakeholders, real estate professionals, neighbors, emerging, and existing developers, this bootcamp is designed to prepare attendees for transformative impact whether starting their first project, or scaling to the next.
Starting Friday June 14th, and culminating on Sunday June 16th, expect 3 transformative days of real estate development via peer-to-peer learning, connection to resources, and exposure to real-world scenarios of infill projects.
During your 3-day immersive experience you'll receive guidance in revitalizing your neighborhood using small scale principles, incremental practices, and creative financing strategies:
- Partner with attendees on projects that challenge and enhance your development skills
- Ask questions and learn from our team of expert coaches and advisors
- Connect with organizations and individuals that are actively developing in Houston and/or providing resources to support local developers.
- Hear from political leaders and municipal representatives on the future of Houston and available public resources
Choose from one of several live residential or commercial cases to follow along with your team, making decisions about design, fundraising and other outcomes. As a bonus, Attendees of this year's conference will be eligible to continue their learning by partnering on real projects in our neighborhood developer accelerator program!
Are you ready to receive a wealth of relevant knowledge that you can use in real time along with the steps to take after the event and the partnerships that can support you as you execute?
Then register now because The Lost Spaces Conference is ready to provide it, but the spaces are limited! Tickets to bootcamp include lunch, tickets to Networking & Presentation Dinner, tickets to Happy Hour, and tickets to Tour.
