Are there bathrooms on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There are pit toilets at many parking lots all throughout the park.  They are often clean.  You are welcome to bring a pee rag and do a nature pee if we are in a remote enough area that you can do so.  You might also like to bring hand sanitizer!

Do I need a park pass?

Must own a state parks pass, or purchase a $10 day pass to enter.
Some carpool rides will be available, park in the Cherry Creek High School lot outside of the WEST entrance to hitch a ride into the park. Please let us know if you would like to help with carpooling or need a carpool ride in. Thanks

All are welcome, regardless of relationship status, gender, and sexual orientation.
Must be 18+.

What happens if if rains or snows that day?

The MiniRetreat will go on!  Please come prepared to be outside the whole time. Bring warm layers, rain gear, winter coats, hats, gloves, warm socks and boots, etc. We will watch the weather and email you a day or two before to advise you what to bring if you are unfamiliar with unpredictable CO!

Do you donate to any charities?

10% of Gross Ticket Donations will be donated to Land Back & Voluntary Land Tax Initiatives. We support the re-matriation of this land and intentionally collaborate with indigenous, black and other people of color as well as local community members to ensure their voices are heard.
