Will you offer CEUs?

Question 3

Can I share my link with a co-worker who didn't register or can't find their link?

Accepted Answer

No. Each participant must register in order to be eligible for continuing education credits and certificates of attendance.  Allowing someone to use your link may impact your attendance report, which is used for determining eligibility for certificates.

Question 4

What do I do if I get kicked out of the session due to technology issues?

Rejoin as soon as you are able. Zoom tracks attendance to the minute. There is no need or benefit to emailing.

Why is attendance important?

Accepted Answer

Participants must be present for at least 90% of the session. This is a requirement by licensure boards, so there will be no exceptions nor partial credit. Exact time in session is tracked by Zoom, and the SOC Academy relies solely on attendance reports to determine certificate eligibility.

Do I need to sign in to my sessions?

No. Zoom tracks attendance by the minute, and Academy staff rely solely on these reports.  Emails and direct messages will not impact the attendance reports.

Question 7

How do I receive my certificate?

Within 2 weeks of the session, those present for 90% of the session will receive an email with a link to the session evaluation. Participants must the complete the session evaluation to proceed to the certificate. Participants must print their own certificates from that page.

Question 8

What do I do if I lose my certificate?

Accepted Answer

All certificates are maintained at https://www.mtsreport.com/ksoc/, and participants can return to that site at any time to access certificates from 2019 - 2024.

Question 9

How can I be added to the email distribution list for future trainings and events?

Email Lea.Taylor@ky.gov with "Add to email list" in the subject line. Please be sure your first and last name appear somewhere within the email.
