We will also explore the ethical and privacy concerns that AI use brings to the forefront of technology adoption and how St. John Fisher University is tackling this topic on campus.

From Curiosity to Discovery: The Power of Undergraduate Research in Shaping Student Success

with Kristin Picardo, Ph.D., Assistant Provost & Director, Center for Student Research and Creative Work

This presentation will highlight the importance of fostering a culture of inquiry and discovery among students, and how the Center for Student Research and Creative Work at St. John Fisher University supports this mission through various programs and opportunities. The lecture will feature examples of student research projects that demonstrate creativity, originality, and impact in their respective fields of study. Two undergraduate student researchers will also discuss how conducting research has helped them develop essential skills, confidence, and passion for their chosen disciplines and career paths.
