<h3><a href="https://www.ferc.gov/news-events/events/february-15-2024-open-meeting-02152024" title="https://www.ferc.gov/news-events/events/february-15-2024-open-meeting-02152024" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Event Details</a></h3>As FERC celebrates Black History Month, the Commission will convene its February 15 open meeting at the historic Howard University School of Law, one of the oldest law schools in the country and the oldest historically Black law school in the United States.Many FERC staff members are proud alumni of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), including FERC’s first African-American Chairman, Willie L. Phillips. Chairman Phillips is a graduate of Howard University School of Law.The agenda for the meeting can be found via the Sunshine Notice.Please note this change in our regular open Commission meeting programming – in both location and time:When: 1 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024Where: Howard University School of Law, Damon J. Keith Moot Court Room, Houston Hall, Level B, 2900 Van Ness Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20008,INSTRUCTIONS FOR PUBLIC ATTENDANCERegistration is required, and only confirmed registrants will be admitted to the meeting. There is no fee for attendance.Due to space constraints, seating for this event will be limited and registrants who get a confirmed space will be contacted via email.The Commission encourages members of the public who wish to attend this meeting in person to register at their earliest convenience. Those who are unable to attend in person may watch the free webcast.
