About Roanoke Mini Maker Faire:The Roanoke Mini Maker Faire will be held February 20, 2020 at the Science Museum of Western Virginia. This event, the brainchild of Tina Coffey and sponsored by the Museum and the Virginia Society for Technology in Education, will feature K-12 makers. Students from regional school divisions will demonstrate their maker expertise and provide hands on experiences for attendees.About Maker Faire:Maker Faireis the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. Signing up for a ticket will help us to gauge how many people will be coming and will help us plan our exhibits and interactive displays so that we will have enough materials for everyone to take part and enjoy.
Rain or Shine. No Refunds/Exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced.
Some downtown Roanoke parking lots and garages charge fees for weekend parking. 
A few of our young makers will be selling some of the things they make.
There will be pictures and videos taken at this event.
