Opening Session for MA Civic Learning Week, designed for all audiences

Massachusetts Civic Learning Week 2024

Civic Learning Week 2024 seeks to highlight the importance of civic education in sustaining and strengthening constitutional democracy in the United States. The theme this year is “2024 and Beyond: Civic Learning as a Unifying Force.”

UPDATE: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu will join this event through video to share insights on the importance of civic engagement. In the opening event this year, a panel of student civic leaders and public officials will share their views on the importance of civic engagement, their own experience in becoming civically engaged, what keeps them engaged now and any advice they have for others to get involved. This session is hosted by the Massachusetts Civic Learning Coalition.
