Meet the artists of Access Gallery at our newest exhibition Carved Impressions!

ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 15 - RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 22Access Gallery is excited to feature Carved Impressions, new printmaking works by Access Gallery artists.Join us on Friday, March 22 from 6 PM - 8 PM for an artist talk and hands-on demonstration of tabletop letterpress led by Victoria Adams-Kotsch. Discover the fascinating history of letterpress printing and try your hand at pulling prints on our vintage C&amp;P Pilot (6.5 x 10) platen press. Immerse yourself in the rhythmic dance of type and paper during this engaging session—an exploration where history meets hands-on creativity. All are welcome to join us for an unforgettable encounter with the timeless magic of letterpress!In fall of 2023, artist Victoria Adams-Kotsch worked with Access artists in a variety of printmaking processes including gel plate monotypes, polystyrene tile printing, monotypes on plexiglass, letterpress, linocut reduction printing, jigsaw linocut, and multi-block linocut techniques. The resulting artworks explore a variety of subjects. Through various flora and fauna the viewer is invited into seeing nature from the artist’s perspective. The human condition can be pondered through fashion, solitary objects, and gender non-conformity.Participating Artists: Allie Gestner, Blossom, Brittany Murdock, Enchanted Dichotomy, Erik Hoy, Heather H., Rebecca Petty, Skylar K. Teaching Artist: Victoria Adams-KotschVictoria Adams-Kotsch is the Owner and Creative Director of Outfoxed Design, a graphic design studio in Englewood, CO.She served on the board of <a href="https://colorado.aiga.org/" title="https://colorado.aiga.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AIGA Colorado</a> board for six years and continues to work to advocate, elevate, and inspire designers and the community. She began working with Access Gallery in 2022 by leading an ink drawing class, then became a teaching artist in 2023 focusing on printmaking techniques.Access Gallery will offer ASL interpretation at this event and all Third Friday events at the gallery.
