Children will learn about inclusion and pack Good Luck Kits for athletes participating in Special Olympics Ohio

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 2-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at Programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Let's cheer on Ohio's Special Olympics athletes! Children will learn about the importance of inclusion through a video and age-appropriate discussion. Then helping hands will pack Good Luck Kits and decorate cheer cards to encourage<a href="https://sooh.org/" title="https://sooh.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Special Olympics Ohio</a> athletes on competition day.When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on March 25th. Donations may be contact-free, porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm March 22-24 at a Seeds of Caring volunteer’s home in Dublin, Westerville, Bexley or to our home office in Worthington on March 25th. Addresses are provided in the service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on inclusive communities and service.Approximate Cost:$5 for 1 kit that includes a sports drink, energy bar, lip balm, and fidget/stress ball. For your cheer card use craft supplies on hand or the printable template provided in the service packet.Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
