Opening Reception Saturday  February 3, 2024, 3pm-6pm

Studio Hill Gallery, 507 Main ST S, Woodbury, will be presenting a new art series titled, “Saving the Planet, One Art Masterpiece at a Time”. The series will begin with an exploration of the effects of human activities on climate change in the Arctic waters.Woodbury, CT artist Matt Wood will be collaborating with Studio Hill Gallery in a multimedia show featuring Wood’s landscapes, iceberg series, photography, and contemporary abstract works along with video installations to bring awareness of the devastation to the Arctic ecosystems. Human activities of tourism, mining, shipping, and overfishing will be explored.The show opens on Saturday February 3rd and will run through Sunday March 17, 2024. An Opening Reception to meet the artist will take place on Saturday February 3rd, from 3pm to 6pm.The Gallery is open Thursday through Saturdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays 12pm to 5pm, and by appointment.
