A virtual series for those under- and unemployed

Over the last few years, I've noticed a significant increase in collective grief and loss in the workplace. Many of us have experienced layoffs and underemployment.There are not enough resources available to address the grief job seekers are experiencing: Rejection. Getting ghosted by recruiters. Dwindling finances. Applications. Decreasing motivation. Shame. Despair.Too many of us are struggling in isolation.Persimmons was created to provide job seekers mutual support, somatic strategies, and healing. Together, we will: <ul><li>begin by mapping our nervous systems to understand our threat reactions</li><li>create language and practices to name our grief, gratitude and gifts</li><li>restore connection to our bodies, identities, and communities</li></ul> Please note, this is not designed for the practical skills of finding employment, like updating resumes or interview skills. Rather, this is the well to return to when you’ve run dry. Like the persimmon, it is a group to bring luck, joy, and abundance. There is only one registration for this facilitated four-week series . Sessions occur via Zoom on Thursdays from 9 to 1030 amPacific on the following dates:September 17September 24October 1October 8 The series is designed to take in succession.
