About this event

Advanced degree talent specific to a company’s industry needs is notoriously difficult to seek out. And discovering industry positions that are a strong match for a grad student or postdoc’s specialized skill set is equally challenging. This event bridges that gap by giving employers access to local Cleveland talent with advanced degrees exploring career transitions.

We aim to drive long standing connections between employers and the untapped advanced degree talent pool brought forward by the Cleveland Biomedical Trainee Alliance (CBTA) workforce made up of over 1,600 biomedical graduate students (masters, doctoral and MD/PhD) and postdocs at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland State University.

This event offers employers an opportunity to meaningfully engage with uniquely-skilled talent through a combination of:

  • Formal presentations
  • Round table discussions
  • Moderated panel discussions
  • One-on-one informational interviews
