Welcome to The Boom Box Heroes' 80’s Retro Party! Get ready to travel back in time to the iconic era of the 80’s at Casa Loma Ballroom. Dust off your neon leg warmers and tease up that hair because we’re bringing the nostalgia of the 80’s back to life!
What to expect:
There will be 6 AMAZING MINI TRIBUTES to Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, George Michael, Culture Club, Billy Idol and The B-52’s with full dance numbers, costumes, props, special guests and performances all night long! Featuring a special intermission presentation of “Thriller” by Rachel "Baby" Brown's HipHop Dance Crew. Our event will be MC’d by South City’s own trick roller skater, Boogie Ghost!

We don’t just play covers. We strive to recreate iconic moments from each of the groups in our Setlist with costumes, clothing, and musical elements that you are already familiar with! Tributes are meant to be the next best thing to seeing the actual artist live.
Casa Loma Ball Room has two full bars but no kitchen so you will have to grab a bite to eat beforehand.
Each tribute will last approximately 30 minutes x 6 tributes. You can expect 3 x 1 hour sets with 2 half hour intermissions.
It is a concert so the music will be loud enough to fill the whole room. If you are sensitive to loud noise, ear plugs are the best way to reduce the noise without missing out on the experience.
Definitely! We encourage you to have a good time all night long! The only time the dance floor will be unavailable will be during a special performance of Madonna’s song “Like a Prayer” where a 12 piece dance crew will be throwing down to the music with their original choreography.
