Make a Ceramic Bowl (or Two) from Fresh BotanicalsBack by popular demand!Join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity and relaxation at our in-person event inside of our maker-space at The Walter Dome! Get your hands dirty and unleash your artistic side as you learn to mold and shape clay into beautiful bowls. Our experienced instructor, Kimberly Nina, will guide you through the process, ensuring you have a memorable and enjoyable experience.No experience is necessary and instruction and materials will be provided.Recommended ages 10+*Note - in this workshop you will work with raw clay to create your piece and leave it at Walter Hive to be fired in our kiln. A green glaze will then be applied by us and then fired again. You will be able to pick up your finished artwork on or after March 12th.Kimberly Nina is a local multi-faceted artist that believes in the empowerment and joy that creating can provide to individuals and the community. As a graduate from Southern CT State University, her degree in Studio Art/Ceramics has yielded over 25 years of experience creating unique ceramics with a focus on nature. She also finds inspiration in the human experience that can be found in her paintings and performances.Don't miss this exciting hands-on opportunity to work with Clay, create something beautiful, and connect with community!
