Holiday Harmonies with Darren Ottati & Laura Laureano

The Rotary Club of Hampton Bays has been serving the community since its charter in 1982. We are an active and vibrant group who meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month.We run 3 major fundraisers each year, our Springtime Spaghetti Dinner, our Autumn "Evening by the Sea" Cocktail Party and our Holiday Harmonies community concert.Our charitable efforts include multiple scholarships to Hampton Bays High School students, sponsorship of school clubs and more for our youth. Recognizing that Hampton Bays is virtually surrounded by water, other projects are often water-related and vary from local to global. Recent project include creation of a water well in South Sudan, construction of lifesaving rings on the Shinnecock Canal, providing water filtration drinking straws in Ghana and creation of interactive signage about the underwater and above ground natural habitat at the Ed Warner, Sr. Memorial Park at the Ponquogue Bridge.

Two of our area&#x27;s most beloved performers are combining talents in one great holiday musical event!Ottati, a classically trained tenor is a Hampton Bays native well known for his stage roles in local and regional musical theater and for his concert performances throughout the area. He is also a local business owner and currently Acting Artistic Director of the Southampton Cultural Center. According to a recent hamptons.com article, “Darren&#x27;s voice range is mind-blowing and his body language was all confidence, power and comedy. He is a &#x27;ticket&#x27; all in himself!&quot;

Soprano Laura Laureano graduated with her BFA in Musical Theater from Pace University where she was featured in: Caroline or Change; Jesus Christ Superstar, Bernarda Alba, The Visit, and Once On This Island. She was most recently seen as Molly in Ghost the Musical; Eva Peron in Evita; and Deena Jones in Dreamgirls, and she is also a regular at the legendary cabaret restaurant Feinstein&#x27;s 54 Below in Manhattan. Her co-star Darren Ottati stated “Laura Laureano has a beautiful, Broadway powerhouse voice.
