The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (NEC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) founded in 2010 by business leaders to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and celebrate the spirit and tenacity of the entrepreneurial community. The NEC serves as Nashville’s center for entrepreneurship, supporting visionaries—from every background, in any industry, and at all phases—by connecting them to critical resources and championing their desire to change the world. Join us on Thursday, February 22 at The Nashville Entrepreneur Center as we welcome the 2024 Twendé cohort and celebrate Nashville Black Innovation and Entrepreneurship Day! We will kick off the evening with a fireside chat featuring <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/drkishasimmons/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/drkishasimmons/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dr. Lakisha Simmons</a>, an award-winning speaker and CEO and <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/shani-dowell-59192b/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/shani-dowell-59192b/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shani Dowell</a>, an innovator in the EdTech space and Founder/CEO of <a href="https://possip.com/" title="https://possip.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Possip</a>. The program will be followed by eats, drinks, and networking. Parking: Parking is available in the red brick parking garage located behind the trolley barns (entrance on Lea Avenue); please bring your ticket inside for validation.
