About this event

This course was developed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to perform Thai Foot Reflexology massage. Using the techniques and practices of Thai Foot Reflexology participants will be able to work reflex points, zones, sen lines: including thumbs, knuckles, and palms; as well as utilizing tools like the massage stick to promote healing within the entire body. Each client is unique and therefore each massage will be customized based on the reading signs of the feet and the combination of pressure to be applied.

Thai Foot Reflexology extends from some of the world’s oldest traditional medicine practices. In Thai reflexology, the focus is on encouraging the flow of energy through the body. Comparatively, in Western Reflexology the focus is on points on the body.

Students in the course will learn how to alter and direct energy in the body to heighten its healing abilities. Thai Foot Reflexology is a natural, alternative therapy that improves circulation, relaxation, tension, and the elimination of waste in the body. In turn, stimulates the body's organs and oxygenates the tissues.

Note: Thai Foot Reflexology can be performed on a massage table or reclining chair. The client remains fully clothed during treatment. Thai Foot Reflexology is not used to diagnose medical conditions or in place of a physician's opinion.
