Note: The hike takes us from the Douglas Spring - Garwood - Carrillo - Douglas Spring trails. This hike offers panoramic views of the city and Catalina Mountains to the north, as well as a visit to a large concrete dam at the 1.7 mile mark. This dam is the last remaining structure of the Bar G Ranch, in operation from 1945-1959.The total elevation gain is just under 900 feet, but the ascents are gentle, and much of the terrain is hard-packed sand, which makes for easy and quick walking.Jackie
