Nine-year-old Mohammed Omar Mohammed Abu Srour and his 16-year-old sister move to a new city where they face a challenging first week of school. She writes and lectures widely, is the author of a number of books addressing health and human rights issues in Israel/Palestine, and a young adult and a middle grade novel that explore the region for young people. She was last in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza in August 2023.
