The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 16,000 professional women of color in 288 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas,and the United Kingdom.It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans, and other persons of African ancestry. The Town Lake (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has served Austin for over 30 years, and our mission is "Friends transforming communities through service."

On Saturday, March 23, 2024, join us at the Austin PBS KLRU-TV Media Center located at 6101 Highland Campus Drive, Bldg. 3000, [entrance on the corner of Wilhelmina Delco Drive &amp; Clayton Lane], Austin, TX 78752. The festivities will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m.Classy &amp; A Little Bit Jazzy: A Mardi Gras Brunch Affair aims to bring communities together for a day of joy and camaraderie while making a meaningful impact. We are dedicated to raising funds that will contribute to college scholarships and support programmatic initiatives aimed at engaging African American youth in STEM activities, arts, and health and wellness programs.Your presence and financial commitment are instrumental in making this event a success. Let's come together to have a great time with the shared purpose of making a positive difference in our community.
