Popscene Presents... A syntpop/electro-pop double bill with JANE LEO x NEW CONSTELLATIONS! JANE LEO:Austin based art pop duo&nbsp;Jane Leo&nbsp;have returned with their hard hitting new single “WOW.” &nbsp;“WOW” marks the beginning of a new era for Jane Leo. The raucous, raw, vibrant duo has wowed audiences in recent live performances with this catchy punk pop tune. The satirical infused lyrics hook listeners from moment one and have them singing along by the end. The undeniably high-powered song was written by Jane Leo and produced by Daniel Leopold and&nbsp;Danny Reisch&nbsp;(Local Natives, Barns Courtney, Heartless Bastards). It has been an exciting year for Jane Leo since the release of their debut, self-titled album in Feb 2023: sold out residency shows, packed SXSW shows, a Texas tour with&nbsp;The Unlikely Candidates, and a performance at the season 3 premiere of HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones to a sold out crowd at Moody Theatre. Following the release of their “Wow” single on August 18th, the duo embarked on their first nationwide US tour joining #1 alternative radio charting, electro pop, rock band,&nbsp;Cannons&nbsp;in August through September. Hitting iconic venues from&nbsp;The Greek Theatre&nbsp;to&nbsp;Terminal 5,&nbsp;9:30 Club&nbsp;to&nbsp;Stubb’s&nbsp;and more, Jane Leo introduced their neon noir, indie alt rock to the masses. They capped off the tour with a performance at&nbsp;ACL Fest&nbsp;weekend 1.In speaking about “WOW,” Jane Leo says: “WOW epitomizes the energy of our live show. NEW CONSTELLATIONS:New Constellations - the ethereal brainchild of lifelong sidekicks Harlee Case and Josh Smith and recent addition Kyle Farook - encapsulates a sonic dreamscape of eager melodies, striking guitar hooks, and celestial vocals that softly tangles listeners into a web of cosmic glory. The Portland-based duo first explored collaborating when they were 14, recording a song together in Josh’s childhood bedroom, before spending the next 15 years exploring their individual approaches to music separately and eventually crafting the dynamic perspective that would become New Constellations. The two debuted with the single, “Hot Blooded,” an incomprehensibly magnetic voyage that offers warmth and compassion, and has now amassed over 25 million streams. Following a monumental year, Harlee and Josh continue to radiate their electrifying chemistry, now amplified by the addition of Kyle, a remarkable third member. With his exceptional musical prowess, Kyle infuses their live performances with a refreshing and captivating new energy. They are gearing currently themselves for upcoming releases that can only be described as a continuation of their signature gilded alchemy.
