8-Bit Analog Synth Workshop

We teach anyone who identifies as a women to program games for free. Additionally, we mentor creators and support women in the gaming space.

The Code Liberation Foundation

These workshops are open to women, nonbinary, femme, and girl-identifying people from all walks of life. 
Who doesn't love a vintage Atari soundtrack? In this workshop, we'll teach you to do more than press buttons to this kind of sound, we'll show you how to build it. We'll dive into some of the techniques video game pioneers used to create sound. 
We will cover the basics of electronics and wave form generation using electronic current without a computer. By the time you leave, you'll be well on your way to being a 8 bitshifter! 
This class is paid because we'll be supplying you with a basic analog synth kit at cost, which you can keep in the end. It's our hope you'll build on it for your own games and share your vibrations back with us. We're saving on shipping by bulk ordering. 
This class is being taught by Phoenix Perry who for a very limited time is home from London for just long enough to share some of her electric talent.
