8 am Sea Kayak Tour on Lake Superior

Requirements/restrictions: Lutsen Resort Guests, 14 and older. Provide reservation confirmation # upon sign-up. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What to bring/wear: Water bottle, sun protection, swimwear or clothes to go under a wetsuit, and shoes or sandals that may get wet. Clothing layers appropriate to the day’s weather.

We provide: Lifejacket (PFD), “farmer john” wetsuit, as well as the paddles and kayaks of course.

Tour description: Join us for a paddle along the shore, starting right from the resort beach! Tour meets at the activities desk in the main lodge. We’ll gear up, go over basic paddle strokes, safety considerations, then enjoy seeing the North Shore from a different perspective. Tandem sea kayaks are used. Inclement wind, weather, and waves backup location is Caribou Lake.

Cancellations: Must be cancelled 24 hours prior to tour start, to accommodate for this increasingly popular activity. **A $10 dollar fee/no-show fee will be charged to a guest reservation for each spot unable to be filled by guests on the waitlist.
