7th Annual Save Second Base Pub Crawl

Join in on this year's fun! It is an all-weekend event to support a local breast cancer fighter Georgann Roberts.

Downtown Chandler 

This year we are giving back to a local breast cancer fighter Georgann Roberts. In May 2019, Georgann was diagnosed with breast cancer. After many different visits for mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, and biopsies, she was offered two options. To have a lumpectomy with radiation, or a single/double mastectomy. Georgann chose to opt for a double mastectomy because of the stories of women who get lumpectomies and do radiation end up getting mastectomies one or two months later. On September 3rd, 2019, her surgery was performed. 10 days later, infections started after the drainage tube were removed, which happens to patients more than you might think. After five surgeries in five months and some major setbacks, Georgann still has two more surgeries and years of exorbitant out of pocket expenses. Georgann was initially reluctant to share her story with us and the world since she’s been private about her health; however, she does want women and men to stay vigilant with annual checkups. Please join us in our 7th Annual Save Second Base Pub Crawl in order to give back to Georgann. All proceeds go towards Georgann&#x27;s expenses and we are a 501c-3 approved organization. We are so excited for this year&#x27;s pub crawl so come out and support this fantastic cause. This year we are doing things a little different to accommodate COVID-19 restrictions. We&#x27;re having a weekend-long event to encourage social distancing and small groups - you can come and go as you please! Participating bars are Murphy&#x27;s Law, Bourbon Jacks, Ghett&#x27;yo Taco, SanTan Brewing, The Local and 1912 Lounge at the San Marcos Resort! San Marcos Resort is also providing bar crawl participants with a discount room rate! Ask us about their special :)We are officially out of T Shirts and Swag Bags!! If you still would like to crawl with us, we can give you a paper ticket so you can still get your 8 drinks tickets!
