7th Annual Diamonds in the Rough: Summer Camp 2024

July 21-27, 2024

Ditr is a 7-Day (6 Night) all-inclusive enrichment camp for girls ages 10-18 with accommodations, 3 meals & 2 snacks per day, 14+ workshops, 5 field trips, Restaurant Dining, (2) T-Shirts, Materials & Supplies, Travel, Welcome Baskets, and Swag Bags.

The camp will be hosted in Dallas, TX.

O ur 2024 Theme is "Loving Me, Inside Out" with a focus on the following:

Self Love * S elf Discovery * Self Care * Self Esteem * Self Reliance * Self Sufficiency * Self Gratitude * Self Worth

We also incorporate the following into every camp curriculum:

Mental Health * STEAM * Health & Wellness * Financial Literacy * College & Career Readiness *College Tour * Cooking Classes * Life Skills, Soft Skills, Communication Skills * Teambuilding

Extracurricular Activities Include:

Movie Nite, SPArty, Water Park, Self-Defense, Dance, Devotion, Arts & Crafts, Etiquette Class & Purity Ceremony

Deposit Required by April 25: $197 Per Camper to Reserve A Spot

Monthly Payments: $250 (May & June)

Balance Must Be Paid In Full By June 25, 2024. (No Exceptions)

Stand 4 Sisterhood Sponsors the remaining $700 Balance via Grants, Community Partners, and Fundraisers - Diamonds can participate in fundraisers to help offset the registration fee, and can also receive camp scholarships.

Marguritte S. Johnson, age 42, resides in Dallas, TX and serves the community as a social activist and Executive Director of Stand 4 Sisterhood and ProActivism Inc.

Johnson recently launched 4CORE: a multi-generational mentoring network for girls and women committed to advocate for one another and pay it forward.

She is CEO of MSJ-PRO Services, LLC - a consulting firm specializing in formations, filings, and funding strategies for both non-profit and for-profit entities.

Johnson officiated as Executive Pastor for ten years at LIFE Intl’ Ministries, and since 2018 has served the advisory board for DISD Innovation Design Entrepreneurship Academy. In 2020, she received an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Counseling.

Johnson influences the community as a speaker, author, public notary, certified mental health first aid responder, content creator, and credentialed mediator.

She celebrates a blissful marriage to Jeremiah Johnson of 23 years and is the proud mother of two, JJ Jr. (age 19) and Mariah Serenity (age 17).

Johnson is passionately intentional about BEING the CHANGE that she desires to SEE in the world TODAY!
