Dallas Greening Initiative Community Meeting: Cotillion Dr. Property

Trust for Public Land works to protect the places people care about and to create close-to-home parks—particularly in and near cities, where 80 percent of Americans live. Our goal is to ensure that every child has easy access to a safe place to play in nature. We also conserve working farms, ranches, and forests; lands of historical and cultural importance; rivers, streams, coasts, and watersheds; and other special places where people can experience nature close at hand.Working from more than 30 offices nationwide, The Trust for Public Land helps communities raise funds, conduct research and planning, acquire and protect land, and design and renovate parks, playgrounds, trails, and gardens.Please contact molly.plummer@tpl.org with questions about the event.

A new neighborhood greenspace is coming near you!Trust for Public Land is partnering with Dallas Park and Recreation, City of Dallas, and Dallas Water Utilities in a new initiative to transform underutilized city-owned land into new neighborhood greenspaces across Dallas. We are excited to share that the property located at <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/56k5Z58jKwNix4YL6" title="https://maps.app.goo.gl/56k5Z58jKwNix4YL6" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">3749 Cotillion Dr.</a> is part of the Dallas Greening Initiative. This means that it will be designated as a neighborhood greenspace that will be open to the public. We are looking forward to working with your community to transform this property into an exciting neighborhood greenspace!Join Trust for Public Land on February 22 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the Lochwood Branch Library to learn more about the Dallas Greening Initiative and share what you would like your future greenspace space to be like.
