Ascoltiamo un album- Giorgio Gaber, Il signor G (1970)Giorgio Gaber was a talented Italian pop musician and a tv star in the 1960s, when he composed tongues in cheek songs, and collaborated with many famous artists. In 1970, he escapes mainstream showbusiness in order to engage social themes presented in a new form of entertainment: teatro canzone. Every tour around Italy takes place in smaller venues and tells a different story, introducing different aspects of a society which was undergoing radical changes. Signor G. is the debut album of Gaber's new career. Il signor G. tells the story of a man like many others who tries to fit into his own life. "G" as "Gente". Il signor G. is not just one person, he is all of us.
