Join DC Public Library librarian, Carmen Boston '84, for literary afternoon. You can start with a lunch at the Marianne's (the library cafe) and then meet up for a tour of the newly renovated Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library afterwards. Or you can just meet for the book discussion. There are many options for this MHC DC Club afternoon. This year's book discussion pick is a graphic novel, Wake: The Hidden History of Women-Led Slave Revolts. Although the link takes you to the DC Public Library catalogue, the book is available at many other DMV libraries.
