Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonvilleis a growing community for Jacksonville writers. We focus primarily on women, but not exclusively. We strive to reach a diverse audience and to make our programs accessible to all, including all cultural groups, genders, and communities.

In honor of our decade-long presence in Jacksonville, we cordially invite you to partake in our first "Town Hall" gathering, marking the milestone of our 10-year anniversary year. This special event aims to unite our community, fostering a collective vision for the upcoming decade.As we reflect back on and celebrate our diverse array of programs—from writing and art initiatives to book festivals, women's leadership events, community circles, and youth programs spanning both college and high school—we find ourselves contemplating growth over the next five and ten years. How do we collectively envision our shared future, and what aspirations do we wish to bring to fruition together?Let's convene to ignite our creative sparks, cultivate deeper connections, and dare to dream as we collaboratively script the narrative for our future endeavors. Join us for this community-building occasion; refreshments will be served. As a token of our appreciation, all participants will receive a special gift.Who should come: Writers. Artists. Anthology Participants. Community Leaders. Interested but never been to an event. Author. Book Festival Attendee. Futurist! Planner! Volunteer! Community-builder!
