Why this event?We want to give audiences an inside look at the famous art featured in our documentary, The Illustrated Courtroom: From Manson to #MeToo coming Summer 2020. You&#x27;re invited to join our team for hors d&#x27;oeuvre and art as we celebrate the career of Bill Robles, one of the wonderful and prolific artists featured in the documentary. The evening will include a gallery featuring all three of our subjects&#x27; work, a silent auction of a famous print and Q&amp;A with Bill himself. We will also be giving an exclusive look at stills, behind the scenes photography, and other content prior to the documentary&#x27;s release. As the last living artist to draw the Charles Manson trial, Bill has had an incredible career which he is eager to share with each of you. Join us on November 16th as we review the expansive, little known history behind the fascinating world of courtroom art. Film Description:While under immense pressure, courtroom illustrators capture the vivid humanity behind public identity. These artists, through extreme talent and an observant eye, must recreate sensational moments of high profile trials that allow the public to understand what would otherwise go unseen inside federal courtrooms. From Charlie Manson’s dramatic leap, to Angela Davis representing herself, to Harvey Weinstein asking &quot;Why am I here?&quot; Courtroom artists act as journalists- recreating these key moments that provide a window into some of America&#x27;s most notorious trials. They are our lens into pivotal moments of modern day history. *Parking will be available in the Emerson parking structure and on the street
