Model shows up at 5:30ish pm to get ready for poses.

Warm up poses

We typically start with 3 five-minute poses and participants may opt to start with 5 one-minute poses to allow artists to warm up and modes to present more dynamic poses that can't be held for longer...

5 minute break

Fifteen-minute poses

Two separate fifteen-minute poses with 1 five-minute break in between.

Five-minute break

Thirty-minute pose

One thirty-minute pose. The model may opt to take a brief break at the fifteen-minute point.

After-session social at OBW

Optional - Join us if you like for some social time at one of our favorite local spots for craft beverages, local wines and snacks!

About this event

The beachKraft is proud to host Life Drawing events with Live Models!


Live, clothed, costumed or nude models in themed poses.

UNDRAPED (NUDE) sessions are on the second and fourth Friday of each month.

Bring your own art supplies or purchase some at the gallery.

We have 5 stand-up easels and tabletop easels available

Beginners welcome! No experience necessary, we will coach those new to drawing or new to figure drawing.

$25 per session as we pay models in full - no tipping necessary, but appreciated by models.

OR - see our website to buy a monthly membership: $80 for every Friday in a month.

  • We often share photos of artwork and artists at work to our social media feeds on Facebook and Instagram (@beachkraftgallery).
  • If you do NOT want us to share this content, please feel free to let us know in advance. We make an effort to ask directly and in person, but we appreciate a heads-up as well.

We will gather at Olney Beer and Wine for socializing after Friday Figure Drawing sessions!

Join us for a beverage and social fun after drawing. OBW is located just .2 mi. from our studio. We would love for artists and models to start the weekend with us.
