Cat Pantaleo, M.A., is a Certified Clinical Herbalist, Nutritionist and Forest Therapy Guide.Through her 23 years as a Holistic Practitioner, Educator, and Naturalist in the Boulder/Denver area, Cat has assisted people to navigate life with grace, beauty and fortitude.  She has learned in her personal work and work with others that true health and vitality are possible with a combination of practices: compassionate connection, mindfulness, optimal nutrition, community, plant medicine and deep nature connection.  Cat skillfully weaves these aspects into her practice and teaching with the intention to facilitate awakening the life force within, becoming who we truly are and fully embracing the human experience. Cat's most recent achievement was receiving a Master's degree in Ecopsychology from Naropa University, deepening her knowledge and skill at bridging the perceived gap between humans and the natural world for the benefit of both.

Learn the basics of creating herbal infused oils and salves and make a therapeutically potent first aid salve to take home.

<h4>This demonstrative, lecture and hands-on class will introduce participants to the wonderful world of infused herbal oils and salve making. We will discuss a variety of skin ailments and how best to use therapeutically effective herbs topically to assist in the healing process. We will create a powerful first aid salve that will prevent/fight infection, decrease pain and inflammation, and maximize healing of tissue with minimal scarring. Each participant will go home with a 1 ounce jar of first aid salve.</h4><p><br></p><p>This class is limited to 5 people as it will be held in my humble home.</p>
