In 2024, you have an opportunity to help represent your community in choosing the candidates who will compete for the Democratic nomination in races up and down the ballot! This is a unique and special way to make your voice heard and determine the future of your community, our state, and our country. Whether your passion is to end income inequality, fight climate change, protect our democracy, end gun violence, or bring down the high cost of health care, this process is for you.We hope you’ll join us by stepping up to support your favorite candidates for President of the United States, the University of Colorado Regent At-Large (Go Buffs!), and state/local offices across the state!Colorado will kick off the 2024 election season on March 5, 2024, by holding its presidential primary election.On March 7, 2024, the <a href="https://www.denverdemocrats.org/" title="https://www.denverdemocrats.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Democratic Party of Denver</a> will hold gatherings throughout the county called precinct caucuses, where you can meet your neighbors, help shape our policy platform, and support your favorite candidates by becoming a delegate for a variety of races up and down the ballot.Once elected as a delegate from your precinct, you will then attend the <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/o/democratic-party-of-denver-62578392723" title="https://www.eventbrite.com/o/democratic-party-of-denver-62578392723" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Democratic Party of Denver Assembly</a> on March 16, 2024 at 10am. Location TBD.After County Assembly, Colorado's 1st Congressional District Assembly will be virtually held on April 11, 2024.After County Assembly, the <a href="https://www.coloradodems.org/" title="https://www.coloradodems.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Colorado Democratic Party</a> will virtually conduct the <a href="https://www.coloradodems.org/caucus" title="https://www.coloradodems.org/caucus" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Colorado State Assembly and State Convention</a> on April 13, 2024.
