Frequently asked questions

What will I need to bring to class?

Students are encouraged to bring any equipment, such as duty rigs or gear that will enhance training value. Students who have BYRNA equipment prior to class are welcome to bring it along. There are no gear requirements, however Byrna will provide all items needed to complete the training.

What is the appropriate dress or uniform for the class?

We encourage students to wear agency training uniforms if available, however, Byrna only requires students at minimum to wear, shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes for safety.
