Inside Out Steelband will present their 23rd Annual Steelband Festival with Dr. Mia Gormandy-Benjamin on Apr. 21, 2020 at One World Theatre.

Please join us for the 23rd Annual Inside Out Steelband Festival, featuring guest artist Dr. Mia Gormandy-Benjamin. Dr. Gormandy-Benjamin will perform with the Bowie High School Steelband and the McCallum High School Knights of Steel.Dr. Gormandy-Benjamin is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. She attained a PhD in musicology from the Florida State University where her dissertation explored the steelband communities in Japan.Tickets are $20 and available on Eventbrite or at the door.
