AFDxDoc: The Chocolate Case

Academics for Development is a growing, non-profit organisation located in Utrecht (affiliated with the Utrecht University), Leuven, Louvain-La-Neuve, Stellenbosch and Montreal. The organisation offers students an opportunity to get to grips with social entrepreneurship and consultancy through multidisciplinary projects. These projects are focussed on solving real-life problems in the development sector in cooperation with a company, local start-up or NGO. Since its foundation in 2011 in Leuven, we have completed 46 projects in Asia, Africa, Latin-America and Europe. Along with our projects, AFD organises local events for students from the Utrecht University and other interested individuals, concerning social entrepreneurship and sustainability.
