<h2>Candle Magic 101: Working the Light</h2><h3>Friday, December 22 from 6:00-8:00pm at Temple of Earth Apothecary</h3> <h3>about this class</h3>You will learn how to manifest love, money, jobs and protection by doing candle work. You will learn how to support the sick, the emotionally unwell, the friends and family far away and close that may not be safe to see in person. You will learn about the best times, days and supporting tools to get the best outcomes with this work. 𓇼This class will be held at Temple of Earth Apothecary. <h3>about Bushmama!</h3>Bushmama Africa is Spiritual Life Coach, Published Illustrator and In Demand Healer helping people enlighten, empower and engage with ancestors to elevate their lives. She has been an exhibitor, performer and curator for the “The Black Woman is God '' movement. Bushmama Africa wears many creative hats as a multi-disciplinary artist; painter, graphic designer, doll maker, jeweler and writer. Her work has been published in two books by Pochino Press; ”Stop Hurting and Dance” by Aquelia Lewis, and “Reflections 2” by James Gayles. Her writing was featured in “Blatant”, a zine on art, beauty and rage as well as the LARB Pub Lab annual journal in 2020. She’s been featured in solo and group exhibitions in over 50 galleries within the bay area. She is an initiated priestess in the Lucumi tradition and her spiritual assignments become the work she creates and the exhibitions she curates.♡ <h3>Accessibility</h3>GENERAL ADMISSION: $33-$66 (with a number of sliding scale tickets beginning at $0 for Black folks).PAY WHAT YOU CAN: For this offering, a small number of 'Pay What You Can' tickets are available for Black folks. Please contribute an amount that feels generous and easeful for you.PAY IT FORWARD: All are welcomed to support the accessibility of our events by utilizing this 'Pay It Forward' option and donating at any amount. THANK YOU!We are a Black queer mother and family run medicine project. It is always fundamental and imperative to <a href="https://www.templeofearthapothecary.com" title="https://www.templeofearthapothecary.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Temple of Earth Apothecary</a> that community healing experiences are accessible to those who need them regardless of financial access. We find it entirely integral that Black/Indigenous people of color get to share medicine in this space, and so we offer 'Pay What You Can' tickets to our Black/Indigenous relatives, at times naming specific sub-groups (see above). We are much owed by way of wealth stolen from us and our ancestors. We view the return of our lands, wealth, health and ways as a matter of justice and one of inevitability, as we intend to help facilitate it. Those who are called to return our money back to us can use the ‘Pay It Forward’ option to tithe in and support the space, our practitioners, facilitators and shop keepers.⛲️For reciprocity and sustainability we will often ask for a minimum donation.
